“Visions of Hope: Art of the Incarcerated” opens at Marin County Civic Center

Visions of Hope: Art of the Incarcerated is a multimedia installation of the art of people experiencing incarceration in California. By showcasing their creative expressions, this exhibition aims to build bridges and awareness between incarcerated individuals and the public and to advocate for criminal justice reforms and access to the arts for rehabilitation.

More than 225 men and women participated in creating art for this exhibition. Most of those who participated in art workshops are incarcerated at the Correctional Training Facility in Soledad, CA (CTF-Soledad) and the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla, CA (CCWF-Chowchilla).

Entrance to Visions of Hope: Art of the Incarcerated at the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael, CA, September 5 to October 24, 2024
