  • “It’s a nice opportunity to hang out and relax with other artistically minded people while also being able to have my hands create something new and meaningful.”

  • “You don’t have to be an artist to do this art. I show up, put the paper maché in the molds, and they guide me through it. It’s really that simple.”

  • “It’s very satisfying to create these hearts. There’s something with the warm goop and the artistic element of pushing out the heart shapes and smoothing out the wings is very, very cool.”

  • “When I know that I need volunteering hours, I can come here and get that done and still have fun and enjoy myself at the same time. I feel like it brings a sense of community because anyone can volunteer. I feel like they’re bringing something to the world that not many volunteering places do.”
